Frequently Asked Cancer Questions

How often will I need to be treated at Sunridge?

Depending on the type and stage of your cancer, your treatment frequency can vary from 3 to 6 times per week. For patients who are actively undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments, this may vary further depending on how often those treatments are received.

Are there any side effects from the treatments?

Side effects from treatments received at Sunridge are very infrequent. Usually patients feel an improvement in their symptoms rather than additional symptoms. On occasion, a patient may experience mild nausea if the infusion is dripping too quickly. This side effect is resolved by slowing down the drip speed.

Do the treatments received at Sunridge Medical replace the need for chemotherapy?

This depends and is determined on a patient-by-patient basis. Many of our patients receive our alternative cancer treatment in addition to receiving chemotherapy or radiation. Unfortunately, stabilization or remission of an advanced disease such as stage III or IV cancer has shown to be difficult when receiving chemotherapy or radiation alone.

Who should seek cancer treatment with alternative medicine?

• All patients who have been diagnosed with cancer.
• Patients who have tried conventional treatments, but are unable to tolerate the side effects.
• Patients who have failed convention cancer treatment (surgery, radiation and chemotherapy)
• Patient who have Stage III or Stage IV cancers

If you have stage IV cancer where the tumor has spread to other areas of the body (metastasis), it is important that you realize that treatment with chemotherapy alone will rarely cure your disease.
