Alternative Lung Cancer Treatment

At Sunridge Medical we offer a comprehensive immunobiological treatment aimed at attacking the cancer, and restoring the body’s natural defense and regulatory mechanisms, including the immune system and detoxification pathways. Our approach combines alternative and conventional therapies to provide patients with the most overall comprehensive lung cancer treatment. Because successful cancer treatment is not a “one size fits all” ample time is spent with each patient to learn more about the details surrounding their illness as this is a necessary component to developing the right treatment. Cancer cells develop in every human being. Cancer cells that form in a body with a healthy immune system are identified and destroyed before they become tumors by the bodies natural defense mechanism. With this in mind, restoration of the natural defense system should be an important part of the cancer treatment otherwise a successful recovery, long term, could be difficult to achieve.

There are several types of lung cancer and also several stages of lung cancer. Tumors can either be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant. It is especially important that an individualized treatment program based upon the type of lung cancer type is made and followed as each type of cancer responds differently to certain treatments.

Pat, Idaho  This is an amazing story.  In fact, almost hard to believe.  Patricia’s doctors gave her only 2-4 months to live.  They sent her home to die after failing 2 years of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.  Out of options and with no hope left, she came to Sunridge and started treatment for a second chance at life. After one month of treatment her cancer disappeared and her PET scan is clear of all cancer.
Lung cancer originating from the end of the bronchial epithelium makes up 90% of all lung cancer cases. Typical treatment options include surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, however, treatment options are often limited because of the stage of the cancer at the time of diagnosis. Many times surgery and radiation are not viable options as the tumors are proximal to vital structures in the lung tissue.

2 Main Types of Lung Cancer

Non-small Cell Lung Cancer which has three subtypes:

Small Cell Lung Cancer which is usually more aggressive than non-small cell and can spread quickly. This form of lung cancer is associated with smokers. The combined 5-year survival rate for all stages of lung cancer is only 15%. If treated early before it has spread to lymph nodes or other organs with surgery, the average 5-year survival is about 50%. However, only 15% of people with lung cancer are diagnosed at this early, localized stage.
