Sodium Bicarbonate Turns Hopeless into Hopeful

Sodium Bicarbonate treatment at Sunridge MedicalAt Sunridge Medical our physicians have been effectively utilizing Dr. Simoncini’s Sodium Bicarbonate protocols in combination with other advanced medicines that we offer to aid in the fight against cancer. Sodium Bicarbonate delivered intravenously has been shown to be a proven method to reduce systemic candida infections which have been shown to be the root cause of most cancers.

Proponents of sodium bicarbonate treatments believe that infection, specifically infection caused by Candida which is a fungus, contributes to the development of cancer. As a matter of fact, they believe cancer itself is a fungus. In their view, a tumor is nothing more than your body’s attempt at protecting itself from Candida. Dr. Simoncini is an oncologist from Europe who is talking about this exciting discovery.

According to Dr. Simoncini, cancer is a consequence of the weakening and exhaustion of your organs, and eventually your entire body, in the following stages:

  1. Candida roots itself in the deep connective tissue of various organs;
  2. As a result, your body/organ tries to defend itself by encapsulating the invading fungal colonies through cellular hyper-production, which results in the formation of tumors;
  3. The fungi spreads and growth continues both in your surrounding tissue and remotely (aka “metastasis”). It is always Candida attacking and infiltrating different tissues, but due to this fungus’ highly adaptive qualities, it is able to mutate and adapt itself to whatever environment it is invading which results in the various types of tumors;
  4. Over time, your body and its organs is overrun and overwhelmed with Candida invasion which results in a weakened state. The body becomes less able to protect itself from the fungal infection which allows the fungi to spread and take over more rapidly;
  5. Your body is completely overwhelmed and can no longer survive.

Sodium bicarbonate, a.k.a. baking soda, is the most potent anti-fungal substance there is. The problem with most anti-fungal drugs is that fungi are extremely adaptive and can adapt to new environments in three or four days; this renders most anti-fungal drugs largely ineffective. Fungi, however, are not able to adapt to sodium bicarbonate.

Candida colonies, specifically, are extremely communicative with highly developed adaptation skills. Because of this, using sodium bicarbonate to rapidly change the Candida colonies’ pH from acid to alkaline quickly and effectively kills off the yeast before it has time to adapt to its new environment.

Abstract

The extracellular pH of solid tumors is unequivocally acidic due to a combination of high rates of lactic acid production (a consequence of fermentative glycolytic metabolism) and poor perfusion. This has been documented by us and others in a wide variety of solid tumor models, primarily using Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopic Imaging (MRSI). This acidity contributes to tumor progression by inducing genome instability, promoting local invasion and metastases, inhibiting anti-tumor immunity, and conferring resistance to chemo- and radio-therapies. Systemic buffer therapies can neutralize tumor acidity and has been shown to inhibit local invasion and metastasis and improve immune surveillance in a variety of cancer model systems. This review will revisit the causes and consequences of acidosis by summarizing strategies used by cancer cells to adapt to acidosis, and how this acidity associated with carcinogenesis, metastasis, and immune function. Finally, this review will discuss how neutralization of acidity can be used to inhibit carcinogenesis, metastasis and improve anti-cancer immunotherapy.

Abstract

Studies on cultured cancer cells or cell lines have revealed multiple acid extrusion mechanisms and their involvement in cancer cell growth and progression. In the present study, the role of the sodium bicarbonate transporters (NBCs) in prostate cancer cell proliferation and viability was examined. qPCR revealed heterogeneous expression of five NBC isoforms in human prostate cancer cell lines LNCaP, PC3, 22RV1, C4-2, DU145, and the prostate cell line RWPE-1. In fluorescence pH measurement of LNCaP cells, which predominantly express NBCe1, Na+ and HCO3-mediated acid extrusion was identified by bath ion replacement and sensitivity to the NBC inhibitor S0859. NBCe1 knockdown using siRNA oligonucleotides decreased the number of viable cells, and pharmacological inhibition with S0859 (50 µM) resulted in a similar decrease. NBCe1 knockdown and inhibition also increased cell death, but this effect was small and slow. In PC3 cells, which express all NBC isoforms, NBCe1 knockdown decreased viable cell number and increased cell death. The effects of NBCe1 knockdown were comparable to those by S0859, indicating that NBCe1 among NBCs primarily contributes to PC3 cell proliferation and viability. S0859 inhibition also decreased the formation of cell spheres in 3D cultures. Immunohistochemistry of human prostate cancer tissue microarrays revealed NBCe1 localization to the glandular epithelial cells in prostate tissue and robust expression in acinar and duct adenocarcinoma. In conclusion, our study demonstrates that NBCe1 regulates acid extrusion in prostate cancer cells and inhibiting or abolishing this transporter decreases cancer cell proliferation.
