Glandular Therapy Treatment

Glandular therapy for cancer treatment at Sunridge Medical
Glandular Therapy refers to the use of glandular preparations usually from bovine or sheep source to improve or restore the function of a diseased or distressed organ. Glandular medicines are usually dried and ground-up glandular tissues that contain hormones as well as other important trace substances such as natural cell stimulators. The most common glandular medicines include ones made from adrenal, brain, thyroid, thymus, pituitary, kidney, liver, heart, pituitary, pancreas, prostate, spleen, and the uterus.

What is Glandular Therapy?

Glandular therapy is a form of natural medicine that uses animal organs or glands to treat certain medical conditions. The theory behind it is that the hormones, enzymes, antibodies, and other substances found in the animal organ tissue will act as a catalyst for healing similar issues in humans.

This type of therapy has been used for hundreds of years worldwide but has recently become more popular due to advances in technology. While some studies have shown promise for using glandular therapy to improve certain health problems, further research is needed before definitive conclusions can be made. Studies show that this type of therapy can help with autoimmune diseases, reproductive health concerns, mental health issues, digestive disorders, and many other ailments.

At Sunridge Medical, our qualified physicians are experienced in glandular therapy and can help you decide if this form of treatment is right for you.

Restore A Distressed or Diseased Organ with Glandular Therapy

Although Glandular Therapy dates back thousands of years, newer research suggests that the administration of glandular medications improves the function of the organ from which the extract was made. For example, during the last 15 years, several research centers have been studying the effect of thymus peptide extracts on the immune system as it is well known clinically that thymus extracts have immuno-modulatory effects. In Europe, thymus extracts have been a very popular addition to immunobiological cancer treatments.

To suggest the futility of animal research, antivivisectionists often point to preventive health measures such as diet. Ironically, animal experimentation has played and will continue to play a pivotal role in nutrition research.

The USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference (SR) is the major source of food composition data in the United States and provides the foundation for most food composition databases in the public and private sectors. This is the last release of the database in its current format. SR-Legacy will continue its preeminent role as a stand-alone food composition resource and will be available in the new modernized system currently under development. SR-Legacy contains data on 7,793 food items and up to 150 food components that were reported in SR28 (2015), with selected corrections and updates. This release supersedes all previous releases.
