Additional test information

The cortisol awakening response is a distinct part of the circadian cortisol rhythm that measures HPA axis reactivity. Cortisol levels rise to their highest level around 30 minutes after waking and decline throughout the day. This test uses saliva to measure levels 5 times throughout the day and provide practitioners with a graphic view of that cortisol awakening response curve.
