Decreased T3 Uptake can be seen in:• Pregnancy
• High estrogen levels
• High protein levels in the blood
• Acute intermittent porphyria

Increased T3 Uptake can occur with:• High androgen levels
• Stress
• Acute liver disease

What type of sample is required for this test?1 mL serum. Phlebotomy is required.
